Established in 2006, the primary purpose of the Board is to advise the AGS CEO, retired Air Force Brigadier General Tip Osterthaler, and the other members of the AGS leadership team.

In announcing the expansion of the Advisory Board, AGS President and CEO Tip Osterthaler, said, “We are extremely fortunate to have General Kenne as part of the AGS team. General Kenne’s last Pentagon assignment was as Deputy Chief of Staff for Warfighting Integration where she was responsible to the Chief of Staff and Secretary of the Air Force for the formulation and execution of policy and strategy to integrate command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities to enable more effective employment of air and space power. After a distinguished career as a Naval Flight Officer, including tours as a “Top Gun” instructor and several high-level operational commands, Bien served as Deputy Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Space Command, where among other things he was responsible for the design of the Wideband Gapfiller satellite program.
