MCLEAN, Va. – January 8, 2008 — AMERICOM Government Services, Inc. (AGS) today announced that Timothy L. Deaver has joined as Director of Air Force Programs in their offices in McLean, Va.
Deaver most recently served in the National Security Space Office as the deputy chief where he focused on space system security vulnerabilities and authored several reports to Congress on critical space control capabilities. Deaver expects to use his experience in operations, intelligence and systems engineering within major defense and intelligence organizations to increase visibility of the AGS custom satellite solutions available to the U.S. Air Force.

My responsibility is to ensure AGS continues to deliver industry leading communication links, equipment, networks and 24×7 services to our customers while looking for new opportunities to provide leading edge satellite communication solutions,” Deaver stated.
Dave Jackson, Vice President and COO of AGS remarked, “I believe that Tim will be major contributor to the future success of AGS in developing our business with the Air Force and with key DoD intelligence organizations. Tim will also support to our efforts to develop new strategic solutions such as hosted payloads for DoD and other government organizations, including NASA.”
With over 20 years of experience in major commands, Secretary of Defense, joint and international environments, Deaver brings a unique blend of experiences that will be of great benefit to AGS and its customers. These experiences include the development of briefings to Congress and intelligence community leaders and leading overseas operations involving a $260M surveillance system.
