Satellite Network and Services Support Space Shuttle Video and HD NASA TV Feeds

March 20, 2007 – Princeton, N.J./Sterling, Va. – AMERICOM Government Services, Inc. (AGS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SES AMERICOM, and Marshall Communications Corp. (MARSHALL), a provider of satellite-based telecommunications services and prime contractor, announced today the renewal of a multi-year contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

NASA will utilize AGS’ satellite services via MARSHALL to provide Space Shuttle video feed during pre-launch, launch and mission operations. AGS will also broadcast the multiple digital channels recognized as NASA TV. AGS has built and continues to provide and maintain an extensive satellite-based network for NASA that includes strategically located ground stations at many NASA facilities.
